CrossFit Summa Launches Weekly CrossFit Classes for Recovery Support
Free CrossFit classes open to members, supporters, and allies of the recovery community - cost to participate is 48 hours of sobriety

Doylestown, PA – CrossFit Summa and The Phoenix, a national sober active community, are thrilled to announce the launch of CrossFit classes for members, supporters, and allies of the recovery community held every Monday at 7 PM at CrossFit Summa. The only cost for participation is 48 hours of sobriety. This initiative aims to provide a supportive and healthy environment for individuals in recovery and allies, fostering physical fitness, mental well-being, and community connection.

Classes are open to all fitness levels and are designed to promote holistic recovery by integrating physical exercise into the healing process. Led by certified CrossFit trainers, participants will engage in high-intensity workouts that can be scaled to meet individual needs and capabilities.
"We are excited to offer these CrossFit classes as a new avenue of support for our community members in recovery," said Steve Doherty, CF-L1 trainer at Summa. "Exercise has been shown to have numerous benefits for mental health and recovery, and we believe this program will be a valuable addition to our community."

CrossFit Summa, a renowned fitness facility known for its inclusive and motivating atmosphere, has partnered with The Phoenix recovery community to host these weekly sessions. The collaboration reflects a shared commitment to empowering individuals through fitness and community engagement.
"CrossFit Summa is proud to support The Phoenix community in this important initiative," said Michael Herman, Owner of CrossFit Summa. "Our goal is to provide a welcoming space where everyone can work towards their fitness and recovery goals together."
Interested participants are encouraged to arrive a few minutes early for a brief orientation and to meet the trainers. Comfortable workout attire, athletic shoes, and a water bottle are recommended.
