DOYLESTOWN, PA — Curiosity Doughnuts at Edison-Furlong Road and Route 263 is changing its hours of operation in order to keep up with demand.

The new doughnut shop will now be open Thursday to Sunday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. or until they sell out of their delicious ring-shaped fried goodness.

The new family run doughnut store opened its doors on Thursday, Feb. 9 inside the former Back to the 50s Diner and next to Rita’s Water Ice in Doylestown Township.

"We sold out a little bit earlier every day last week," said co-owner Aki Kamozawa. "On Sunday they started lining up at 7 a.m. We changed the hours to help us keep up with the demand. It’s a good problem to have. Things will probably calm down in a few weeks and then, maybe, we can add Wednesday in."

Their doughnuts are unlike any doughnut you can find in the area. They are moist and delicious. And the glazes - ranging from buttermilk lime and milk chocolate to mixed berry, Earl Gray and cherry - add an extra burst of flavor, enhancing the whole taste experience.

Their new 1800 square foot space is a little bigger than what they had planned, but it has allowed them to expand their menu to include a coffee program, egg creams and savory offerings, including breakfast sandwiches in the morning and fried chicken sandwiches and pastrami onigiriin the afternoon.
