The debate on whether medical marijuana should be allowed in Pennsylvania continues Tuesday in Harrisburg.
The House on Monday voted on several amendments to the bill legalizing medical marijuana. The votes on the amendments were taken after nearly six hours of debate on the House floor, the Morning Call reported.
Votes on additional amendments are expected Tuesday. A final vote on the amended bill will likely be held Wednesday, the Morning Call reported.

The Senate passed a similar bill in May but would need to approve the House version before the legislation moves to Gov. Wolf's desk. The governor has said he will sign the legislation and has urged lawmakers to take action on the issue.
"I support the legalization of medical marijuana and I believe it is long past time to provide this important medical relief to patients and families across the commonwealth," Wolf said in a statement on his website.
