Deep Dish Pizza Restaurant Closing Its Doors In Doylestown Township

After a quarter of a century in business, Uno Pizzeria and Grill is closing its doors at the Doylestown Pointe Shopping Center.

DOYLESTOWN TOWNSHIP, PA — Uno Pizzeria and Grill, located in the parking lot at the Doylestown Pointe Shopping Center at Easton and Almshouse roads, will be closing its doors on Sunday, October 1.

After 25 years in business, the eatery announced its upcoming closure in a posting on Wednesday on its Facebook page.

“Thank you all for 25 years of service and fun. We are sad to announce that this Sunday, Oct. 1 will be our last day. Hope to see you this week for our goodbye.”

For a quarter of a century, the Doylestown restaurant has been serving its popular deep dish Chicago-style pizza, fresh toppings, pasta, steaks, burgers, and more at its free-standing restaurant in the parking lot of the shopping center.

With the closing of the Doylestown eatery, Uno Pizzeria will have one remaining restaurant in Bucks County at the Neshaminy Mall in Bensalem.

Patrons responded to the news on the restaurant's Facebook page.

"Words can't express how crushed I am," wrote one person. "I am looking forward to one last hurrah behind the bar tomorrow night."

Another wrote, "So many good memories with good people and staff. It really was my 'Cheers.'"

"How did this happen? I eat there most Friday nights!!! Best 10-ounce streak around, including the local steakhouses. This cannot be!"

"Oh no! This was our go-to place with my grandchildren. Tuesday crafts were the best! The staff was outstanding."
