Delco Man Wanted On Felony Theft Charges In Warrington

According to Warrington Police, the man entered the store on two different days and took merchandise worth more than $2,000.

WARRINGTON TOWNSHIP, PA — An arrest warrant has been issued for a Delaware County man wanted on felony retail theft charges in Warrington Township.

Loss prevention officers at the Home Depot told police that Joel Alexander Smith, 42, of Lansdowne, entered the store on April 20, loaded three chainsaws valued at $1,027 into a cart, and then left the store without paying.

On May 2, loss prevention told police that he returned to the store and selected a mat and two garage door openers valued at $1027.99. He again left the store without paying.

A warrant has been issued for Smith for felony retail theft and felony receiving stolen property charges.
