Democrats Win Across The Board In Central Bucks School Board Race
Voters send blue wave through the Central Bucks School District; Democrats win all five seats on the school board.

DOYLESTOWN, PA — Voters sent a blue wave cascading through the Central Bucks School District on Tuesday sweeping five Democrats into office and ousting the incumbent school board president.
According to unofficial results and with 100 percent of precincts reporting, the Democrats cleared the board on Tuesday winning all five contested races and taking majority control of the board of education.
Over the past several years, the school district has become ground zero in the culture war as the Republican majority implemented policies to protect parental rights, to keep politics out of the classroom, to shield students from sexually-graphic library material and to protect female athletes.

The Democrats fought back accusing the board majority of banning books and Pride flags, marginalizing the district's LGBTQ+ student population and costing the district more than a million dollars defending itself against accusations by the ACLU-PA of discrimination against the district's LGBTQ+ students and their allies.
Winning election to the board on Tuesday are incumbent Karen Smith (Region 1), Heather Reynolds (Region 2), Dana Foley (Region 3), Rick Haring (Region 6) and Susan Gibson (Region 8).
