Dispute Over Tobacco Vape Device Turns Violent In Perkasie
The dispute between two men escalated into an aggravated assault and a stabbing on Wednesday afternoon, police said.
PERKASIE, PA — A 21-year-old Bucks County man is facing charges after a dispute over a vaping device turned violent Wednesday afternoon in Perkasie.
The Perkasie Police Department responded to a home on Fairview Avenue just after noon for a reported stabbing.
When police arrived, they learned that a dispute between two men over a tobacco vape device had escalated into an aggravated assault when one of the men struck the other with a pair of hair clippers and then attacked the victim with a screwdriver, stabbing him multiple times in the upper back as he attempted to flee.

The victim was transported to St. Luke's Grandview Hospital, where he was treated for non-life-threatening wounds and several broken ribs.
Police located the alleged attacker - 21-year-old Alexander Harskuti of Perkasie - at Drunkenmiller Park in Sellersville after he fled the scene. Police reported that he had contacted police to self-report the incident.

Harskuti was taken into custody without incident and arraigned before District Judge Regina Armitage in New Britain. He was remanded to Bucks County Prison after failing to post 10 percent of $300,000 bail.
Harskuti is charged with aggravated assault, possessing instruments of crime, simple assault, harassment, and recklessly endangering another person.
