​Donald Trump has announced plans for a "big" rally in Pennsylvania next week to mark 100 days in office.

Donald Trump on Saturday announced plans for a "big" rally in Pennsylvania next week to mark 100 days in office. The rally will be held on April 29 at the PA Farm Show Complex & Expo Center in the New Holland Arena, Harrisburg.

The rally will start at 7:30 p.m. on the same night as the annual White House Correspondents' Association dinner in Washington, which Trump has previously said he'll boycott.

The Philadelphia Inquirer also notes Saturday is the deadline for Congress to pass a spending bill. If they fail to do so, a government shutdown would start Saturday.

Trump's visit to Pennsylvania follows a victory here in November, the first electoral success by a Republican presidential candidate since 1988.
