Doylestown-Area Companies Among 'Best Places To Work'

The 100 Best Places to Work in Pennsylvania was revealed this week and includes companies throughout Bucks and Montgomery counties.

AWeber, an email marketing company based in Chalfont, made the list.

The list, created by Team Pennsylvania Foundation and the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED), represents companies with more than 22,900 employees throughout Pennsylvania.

A celebration dinner will be held on Thursday, December 3 at the Lancaster County Convention Center in downtown Lancaster.

“Team Pennsylvania Foundation is honored to support a program that celebrates our two most valuable resources – a quality workforce and world-class businesses,” said Ryan Unger, Acting President and CEO, Team PA.

Winning companies achieve the highest combined scores in a twofold evaluation: review of a company’s workplace policies, practices, philosophies, systems and demographics (25%); and results of an employee survey to measure the employee experience (75%).

Using a formula similar to Fortune’s “100 Best Companies to Work for in America,” the Best Companies Group surveys and scores the workplace practices survey along with the employee survey and each Best Places to Work candidate is given an overall score.
