DOYLESTOWN, PA — One of Doylestown's most popular events is fast-approaching. The Doylestown Arts Festival is Sept. 8 and 9. This year's festival will feature works by 160 artists in a variety of categories, including fine art, glass, woodworking, photography, pottery, printmaking, and more.

The free event, which will be held rain or shine, also features live music, interactive demonstrations, food, and more. The festival is located throughout Doylestown. (Click here for a festival map.)

The weekend will feature several demonstrations, including pottery demos, glass blowing, silk scarf painting, and more. (Click here for a schedule of demonstrations.

There will be fun for the kids, too. An Arts Fest Kids Zone will feature activities for all ages, including a moonbounce, jewelry stations, life sized games, and more. Doylestown Rock Gym will be on site with a free-standing rock climbing wall for children, as well.

There will be five stages of live music, which starts as early as 10:30 a.m. in some areas. Acts include Alex and the Kaleidoscope, Bucks County Folk Song Society, Hot Club of Philadelphia, and more. (Click here for a full schedule of live music.)

The food court will be located on Hamilton Street between State and Oakland. Selections will include a variety of traditional festival fare, vegetarian and vegan options, dishes from local restaurants and more.
