Doylestown Borough To Hold Disaster Preparedness Seminar

DOYLESTOWN BOROUGH, PA — Are you prepared for the next disaster to strike?

Doylestown Borough presents a free Preparedness Seminar on Wednesday, July 31 beginning at 6:30 p.m. at the Doylestown Borough Hall at 10 Doyle Street.

Participants will learn about creating family meeting and communication plans for disaster preparedness.

Why prepare now for emergencies? Emergency workers will help after a disaster strikes, but they may not be able to reach everyone right away. That’s why it’s important to be ready to survive on your own for at least three days during an emergency.

This may mean having another place to stay, extra food, water, first aid, and other basic needs. You can’t control natural disasters, emergencies, or terrorist attacks, but you can be ready for them and now what to do to take care of yourself and your loved ones.
