Doylestown Borough is seeking volunteers for several community boards and committees, including a junior borough councilperson.

Doylestown Borough is seeking volunteers for several community boards and committees.

The borough posted the following announcement on Friday: Doylestown Borough is accepting applications from Borough residents to fill vacancies on the Dog Park Advisory Board, Environmental Advisory Council, Fanny Chapman Pool Board, Human Relations Commission, and the Revitalization Board.

Borough Council is also seeking students who are residents of the Borough, 15-18 years of age, who will be High School Sophomores or Juniors in May 2016, interested in serving as a Junior Borough Councilperson, or as a student member of Fanny Chapman Pool Board, Park and Recreation Board, Historical and Architectural Review Board, or the Shade Tree Commission.

Student members will be able to gain familiarity with local government operations while providing input on matters before the Borough.
