Doylestown Business Leader Advocates For Women In Construction At National Summit

DOYLESTOWN, PA — Stephanie Kennelly, co-owner of North Point Exteriors in Doylestown, represented Bucks County at the James Hardie Summit in San Antonio, Texas. The annual conference for siding contractors featured a Women’s Leadership session, which Kennelly attended on Feb. 5.
Kennelly was selected to speak to a group of male-owned companies during the summit. The discussion focused on ways to increase women's involvement within their organizations. Topics included hiring women for project management roles and expanding their presence in sales and leadership positions within the construction industry.
"We shared stories, talked about our businesses, and discussed why representation, leadership, and supporting one another matter now more than ever," Stephanie Kennelly said. She added that it was inspiring to connect with other driven women who are building projects and shaping the industry's future.

Kennelly also commented on the significance of the experience for her company.
