Doylestown Hospital Among Best In Pennsylvania: Newsweek Report

DOYLESTOWN, PA — Doylestown Hospital is on Newsweek's list of the World's Best Hospitals for 2022, the hospital announced Tuesday.

Doylestown Hospital was ranked as the seventh-best hospital in Pennsylvania and and 119th-best hospital in the United States.

“We are honored that our tradition of excellence is recognized on the list of World’s Best Hospitals,” said Jim Brexler, President and CEO of Doylestown Health, in a news release. “For nearly 100 years we have provided exceptional care to our growing community, with a team that lives and breathes a culture of quality every day. Especially during the pandemic, Doylestown Hospital’s dedicated caregivers met every challenge with the quality and compassion that is our trademark.”

Newsweek and Statista release their rankings every year. Rankings are based on hospital recommendations from peers, patient experience, and key performance indicators such as patient safety, hygiene measures, and quality of treatment.
