Doylestown Launches '1st Sunday Celebrations' Around Town

Discover Doylestown is launching a new family-friendly event around town. It's called 1st Sunday Celebrations and it will begin this month, on Sunday, Aug. 7 from noon to 4 p.m. in Doylestown Borough.

The day will feature music, performing events and family fun. This weekend, special activities include a Bubblegum contest, hula hoops and sidewalk chalk, according to organizers.

The great boutiques, shops, and business establishments throughout Doylestown Borough have joined together for “Discover Doylestown 1st Sunday Celebration.” The family-friendly arts focused event will give people a chance to experience a variety of amazing local artists, who will share their talents throughout the participating businesses in town. The event will feature everything from plein air painters to face painters, and from arts and crafts for kids to live music for moms and dads. All events will take place within or in front of participating businesses from 12 noon to 4pm on the first Sunday of each month. Participating businesses will also partner with different local charities each month for a love your local give back.
