Doylestown Man Charged With Felony Trespass, Making Threats
He was taken into custody by the Central Bucks Regional Police Department after violating is bail conditions.
DOYLESTOWN BOROUGH, PA — A 34-year-old Doylestown man has been charged with felony trespass and making threats for an incident that happened on May 16.
Matthew William Smith, 34, was taken into custody by the Central Bucks Regional Police Department after he was found at the Center Square Towers in violation of his bail conditions.
Witnesses told police that Smith was on the property after he was told not to return. Officers located Smith at the apartment of the victim, trying to gain entry. Smith was out on bail from a prior arrest in which his bail conditions barred him from having contact with the victim or returning to the property, police said.

After speaking to the victim, police learned that Smith had also threatened the victim the previous night. Smith was arraigned and bail was set at $250,000 (10 percent). He was remanded to Bucks County Prison.
