Doylestown Memorial Day Parade Weather Forecast
Will Mother Nature cooperate with the 150th anniversary of America's oldest Memorial Day Parade?

Memorial Day is a big holiday in Doylestown. After all, we are home to the county's oldest Memorial Day Parade. This year's parade is extra special: It's the 150th anniversary of the event.
The parade will be held on Monday, May 28 starting at 10 a.m.
The parade travels along W. Court Street, beginning at Central Bucks West High School to Clinton Street. From there, it will go onto State Street to Main Street, turning onto E. Court Street to the conclusion at the Doylestown Cemetery, where a 30-minute ceremony will be held.

Keep in mind, there are some parking restrictions planned that day. Parking will be prohibited on both sides of W. Court Street between Lafayette and Clinton Streets beginning at 6 a.m. the day of the parade.
According to information from Doylestown Borough, the parade in 2017 attracted more than 15,000 spectators and more than 1,700 participants.

So will Mother Nature cooperate with the weather? As of now, the forecast doesn't look horrible. There is a chance of some thunderstorms throughout the weekend, including on Monday.
Here is the Memorial Day Weekend forecast for Doylestown, according to the National Weather Service:
Friday: Sunny, with a high near 85. West wind 5 to 13 mph.
Friday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 65. Southwest wind 6 to 8 mph.
Saturday: A chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 2pm. Mostly sunny, with a high near 87. West wind around 7 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
Saturday Night: A chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 68. Chance of precipitation is 40%. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
Sunday: Showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 79. Chance of precipitation is 60%.
Sunday Night: A chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 63. Chance of precipitation is 50%.
Memorial Day: A chance of showers and thunderstorms. Cloudy, with a high near 77. Chance of precipitation is 50%.
Monday Night: A chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 62. Chance of precipitation is 30%.
