Doylestown Taco Joint Among Region's Best, Philly Mag Says

Some of the area's best tacos are right here in Doylestown.

That's according to Philly Mag, which published a piece Tuesday highlighting "Philly's Best Tacos By Neighborhood." Doylestown's Sabrosa Taqueria was picked as one of the area's best. It was the only Bucks County taco place to be featured by the magazine.

Sabrosa Taqueria, located at 34 E. State Street, has a menu that includes signature tacos, create your own tacos and taco pints.

Philly Mag suggests the taco pints. Here's what the magazine had to say about the taco pint:

"Traditional elements (chorizo and refried beans, pastor pork, tortilla chips, onions) are layered in burrito-bowl-esque pints and consumed with a spoon. Fewer napkins needed."

According to the restaurant's website, the menu and food is inspired by family recipes, starting from a great-great aunt known as Tia.

"Serving as our inspiration, Tia's picture can be seen hanging on a canvas in Sabrosa and each batch of freshly made tortillas must pass the test, "Is this as good as Tia's?" before being served," the restaurant's website says.
