Doylestown Teen Charged With DUI After Single-Car Crash: Police

An underage teen from Doylestown has been charged with DUI after a one-car crash in Plumstead Township, police said.

PLUMSTEAD TOWNSHIP, PA — An underage teen from Doylestown has been charged with DUI after a one-car crash in Plumstead Township, police said.

According to police, the crash happened at 3:56 a.m. on Point Pleasant Pike and Jillian Way. When officers arrived, they identified Cannon as the driver.

During the officers’ investigation, Cannon shows signs of being under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance, police said.

He unsuccessfully completed field sobriety testing and was taken into custody for suspicion of DUI.

He refused a blood test and was later transported to his home.
