DOYLESTOWN, PA — An 18-year-old Doylestown resident and recent graduate of Central Bucks West was found dead Sunday when he was pulled from a lake nearly eight hours after a boat capsized, according to authorities.

Dominic Testani had been on a row boat on Lake Henry in rural Wayne County near Scranton with two other people when the boat overturned around 1:30 a.m., state police said. The others reached safety with the help of friends and first responders, but it took until after 9 a.m. for the Scott Township Dive Rescue Team to find Testani, according to police.

Testani, who graduated early in January and was preparing to enter the military, “was a beloved friend, teammate and classmate,” according to a message from the Central Bucks School District.
