Doylestown Township Republican Candidates Announce Endorsements

DOYLESTOWN TOWNSHIP, PA — Republicans Rob Caroselli and Trish Murphy, who are running for two open seats on the Doylestown Township Board of Supervisors, have been endorsed by U.S. Congressman Brian Fitzpatrick, Bucks County Sheriff Fred Harran, tax collector Sarah Tomlinson and Captain David Christian, the Vietnam War's most decorated U.S. veteran.

Murphy and Caroselli are facing Democrats Judy Dixon and incumbent Jennifer Herring for two open six-year seats on the board of supervisors on Tuesday.

"I am very impressed by their 'can do' attitude, 'boots on the ground' work ethic and willingness to work together with others to provide for the safety of Doylestown Township residents," said Harran. "As crime rates are on the rise throughout Bucks County, both Trish & Rob understand the importance of appointing the next Doylestown Township Police Chief. I can attest to the respect they have in making sure Doylestown Township Police has the staff and tools necessary to combat the rise in crime and protect its residents. Tomlinson added, "Trish and Rob are ready to perform the hard and tedious but necessary tasks that will keep Doylestown Township moving forward at the local level. They have a long term investment in the community as they have family in the township from ages 4 to 82. The Republican candidates have also received the endorsement of Captain David Christian, the Vietnam War's most decorated U.S. veteran and a member of the National Military Officers Hall of Fame.
