Doylestown Weekend Accident Leads To Downed Wires, Road Closure

DOYLESTOWN, PA — An accident in Doylestown over the weekend brought down a telephone pole and wires, leading to road closures.

The incident occurred on Saturday night, Aug. 25 on New Britain Road near Delaware Valley University, police said.

Only one vehicle was involved.

It's not yet clear what led to the accident.

PECO crews responded to the scene to repair the pole and wires. The road was shut down for several hours.

It's not yet clear if there were any injuries.
