Doylestown Winery And Bistro Releases Menu In Lead Up To Grand Opening

DOYLESTOWN BOROUGH, PA — In a taste of what's to come, Doylestown's new winery and bistro - Waters Edge - has released its menu to whet everyone's appetite.
Inspired by owner Eric Landolfi’s Italian heritage, the bistro's menu features an enticing selection of classic tapas (small plates), charcuterie boards, panini sandwiches, flatbreads and mouthwatering desserts.

Its tapas menu is bursting with tasty small plates, including bacon-wrapped dates, whipped ricotta and honey, Mediterranean baked feta, a hummus platter, Cabernet sliders, cheesesteak rolls, meatball sliders, crispy Brussels sprouts, fries, soup of the day and arancini rice balls.
Diners also have a choice of three different charcuterie boards - the smaller size serving two and the larger size serving four. Pick from a classic meat and cheese board featuring assorted artisan cheeses, old style mustard, fresh pita bread, meats, dilled veggies, mixed nuts and dried berries, or an Italian style or Mediterranean charcuterie board.

The winery's panini sandwich selection includes the Cubano (roast pork, tavern ham, pickles and Swiss melted and pressed on buttered Italian stick bread with spicy mustard; the Chambersburg (crispy chicken cutlet, roasted red peppers, melted provolone with mayo); the Tuscano (sliced chicken, sauteed spinach, roasted red peppers, pesto aioli, melted fontina cheese on pressed focaccia bread); and Buffalo Chicken (spicy buffalo chicken, blue cheese and pepper jack cheese, drizzled with buffalo sauce).
The winery's sandwich menu reflects its location within view of the Bucks County Justice Center. It will be whipping up the Jury Selection (grilled chicken, avocado, bacon lettuce and tomato with honey mustard on a Brioche roll or wrap); the D.A. (roasted turkey, melted brie cheese, sliced green apple, cranberry, aioli on a crispy baguette; and The Counselor (thinly slice prosciutto Di Parma, fresh burrata cheese, arugula with sun dried tomato Parmesan spread on warm focaccia bread).
There's also the '"Split Decision" served cold or hot (corned beef brisket, Swiss cheese, cole slaw or sauerkraut, and Russian dressing on rye bread); the French Connection (hot roast beef, au jus, toasted baguette, and horseradish sauce); and "The County Seat" (grilled cheese and provolone, sharp cheese, and American cheese and a cup of soup.
For those just hungry for a burger, the winery will be serving those, too.
Their house burger will feature Angus beef topped with lettuce, tomato, red onion cheddar cheese and crispy bacon on a brioche bun; a brie and mushroom burger; a smoked Gouda burger; and a blue cheese burger. All burgers will be served with house fries or sweet potato fries.

Water's Edge Winery and Bistro is coming to the first floor and basement at 50 North Main Street in the heart of Doylestown Borough.
The winery's salad selection will include a Caesar Salad, Roasted Chickpea Greek Salad, Strawberry & Blue Cheese Salad, the Wedge Salad, Southwest Chicken Salad, Chicken Mediterranean Salad, Chopped Cobb Salad, Chopped Antipasto Salad and a Meatball Salad.
Its flatbread pizzas will include Margherita; Caprese; Mediterranean; stromboli; prosciutto, fig and Gorgonzola cheese; zucchini and brie; and kale, bacon and feta.
And after all that deliciousness, patrons can top it off with one of the winery's homemade desserts. Its selection will include Coppa Tiramisu, Coppa Caffe, Hazelnut Chocolate Flute, Limoncello Flute, New York Cheesecake and Old Fashioned Chocolate Fudge Cake.
