Doylestown Borough is planning its popular Youth Fishing Derby event, which will be held April 2 at the Borough Dam in Chapman Park.

But first, some help is needed to prepare.
Clean-Up Day will be held Saturday, March 19 from 8 to 10 am. The rain date for the cleanup day is Sunday, March 20. Volunteers are needed for cleanup day.

On March 30 at 11 a.m., the fish will be delivered. Children are invited to attend with parents and help put in the fish. Pizza will be donated and served by Weis Market of Doylestown, according to information from the Borough.
The main event, Opening Day, will be held rain or shine on Saturday, April 2 at 8 am. The free event for children 16 and under will include complimentary burgers and hot dogs. B & B Beverages will provide soda, A Taste of Philly is providing soft pretzles and Annie’s Water Ice will be offering free water ice.

A second stocking of fish will happen Wednesday, April 27 at 11 a.m.
