Doylestown Youth Fishing Opening Day Is Saturday

Opening Day for Doylestown Borough's popular Youth Fishing program is this Saturday, April 1 at the Borough Dam in Chapman Park.

The free Opening Day celebration starts at 8 a.m. and is for children ages 16 and younger. There will be free burgers, hot dogs and drinks. Plus, Annie's Water Ice will be providing free water ice.

A second stocking of fish will happen Wednesday, April 26 at 11 a.m.

Donations are needed to keep the popular community fishing program thriving. Donations can be sent to: Friends of the Borough Dam, Doylestown Borough Hall, 57 West Court St., Doylestown, PA 18901.

Volunteers are also needed.
