Doylestown's elite 8th grade girls AAU team won a prestigious conference in Virginia Sunday.

Doylestown’s AAU girls basketball team emerged queens of the Fairfax Tournament of Champions this weekend in Virginia.

D-Town Elite, an 8th grade team, went undefeated throughout the tournament for a 4-0 final record.

D-Town won their first game in overtime, 39-37, and battled on to defeat two Nike-sponsored teams in close matchups by a combined 4 points.

They wont on to defeat Loudoun Freedom for the tournament title.

“Often a team will let down after an emotional win but not this day,” said Coach Don Treon. “They closed out the weekend with a dominating performance against the Loudoun Freedom team to complete the undefeated weekend.”

D-Town is now a perfect 8-0 to start their season.
