Doylestown's Free Concert, Movie Lineup For Summer 2019

DOYLESTOWN, PA — More than a dozen free concerts and movies are coming up this summer in Doylestown as part of Thompson Performing Arts Series. The entertainment series, organized by the Doylestown Township Parks and Recreation, kicks off on June 19 with the Fabulous Greaseband and continues through the summer with concerts, movies and even fireworks in July.

Performances will include classic rock bands, community bands, jazz and much more.

Summer concerts happen Wednesdays at 7 p.m. All concerts are free, except the July 7 performance and fireworks event. (More details below)

There are also three free outdoor movies scheduled. The first movie — a screening of "E.T." is set for June 20.

All events will be held at the C&N Amphitheater in Central Park, 425 Wells Road, Doylestown. Concerts are held at Lenape Middle School in the event of inclement weather.

FIREWORKS & CONCERT

July 7: Bigg Romeo (concert at 7 p.m., fireworks after). Parking is $5 a car.

June 20: E.T. (8:15-8:30 pm)
Aug 15: Incredibles 2 (7:45-8:00 pm)
Sept 28: Mary Poppins Returns (6:15-6:30 pm)
