Doylestown's Jersey Mike's Sells Record Number Of Subs For Kin
Not only did people from the community visit Jersey Mike's, but Bucks County businesses ordered lunch for their employees to benefit Kin.

PLUMSTEAD TOWNSHIP, PA —A two day fundraiser at Jersey Mike's at the Cross Keys Place Shopping Center has netted the Kin Wellness and Support Center $13,570.62.
On Friday, Sept. 8 and Saturday, Sept. 9, the popular sub shop donated 100 percent of all sales to Kin, a non-profit that provides free integrative services, counseling, fitness, yoga, therapy and support to cancer patients and their families in Bucks County.
The $13,570.62 will be allocated to a program Kin started earlier this year called "Cover our Rent," where businesses can donate funds to pay Kin’s rent. Jersey Mike’s will easily cover Kin’s rent in October and November.

Jesse Allen and Amanda Taibe, the owners of the Jersey Mike’s location in Doylestown and New Hope, reported two and a half times the foot traffic during the Kin fundraiser.
The couple, and their employees, were so moved by the out pouring of support and the gratitude that was shared by the actual Kin guests who made purchases over the two-day event, that they have pledged to make this an annual fundraiser that will benefit the local cancer community through Kin.
“The success of this fundraiser shows just how motivated our community is to support the good work we are doing and how much they love a great sub. These funds will be applied to our ‘Cover our Rent’ program which is vital to our sustainability. We are so grateful," said Keith and Kristina Fenimore of Kin Wellness and Support Center.
The partnership was brokered by Dave and Jess Ramoy of the Doylestown Cardinal, who introduced Jesse and Amanda to Kin and promoted the event in their newspaper.
As a community driven non-profit, Kin Wellness and Support Center looks to collaborate with local business owners who have a desire to impact the lives of locals battling cancer and their caregivers.
Through Kin, Bucks County cancer patients can seek free care in a caring and supportive environment. #LocalForLocal
