Junior Builders LEGO Contest To Be Held In Doylestown

Calling Junior LEGO enthusiasts!

Do you have a child who loves LEGO?

Discover Doylestown is pleased to announce a community LEGO contest to be held in conjunction with the Doylestown Fire Company’s 6th Annual Open House on Friday, October 2nd from 6:30pm – 9:00pm. Children are invited to enter one LEGO model into one of four prize categories. Judging will occur at 8pm, winners who are not present will be notified by telephone on October 3rd.

To enter the contest, go to http://doylestownjuniorlego.eventbrite.com and complete the registration form by 10:00am on September, 25th.

Categories: Ages 5-7 years, 8-9 years, 10-12 years and Fire Chief’s Award for a Doylestown Fire Company themed fire truck or fire scene

*When registering note that only two members per family or group can sign up in each category so that there is room for the minor child and their parent/guardian.

Model Requirements: must be no larger than 2’x2’

The Judges: Mayor of Doylestown Ron Strouse, Borough Manager John Davis, Council President Det Ansin, and Doylestown Alliance President Michael Kendrick. A 5th judge will be a member of the Fire House.

Where: Doylestown Fire Company 68 Shewell Ave. Doylestown Boro

When: Friday, October 2nd Models may be brought to the Fire Company on Friday between 1-5pm

Prizes: One LEGO kit per category, tickets to the NEW LEGO Castle Adventure Exhibit opening October 3rd at The Mercer Museum, and other prizes donated by local Doylestown businesses.
