Dozens of Doylestown Restaurants Confirmed for Cocktails at the Castle Event

The black-tie event to benefit the Mercer Museum will be held on Oct. 10.

The Mercer Museum will host its third annual Cocktails at the Castle event on Oct. 10.

The black-tie event begins at 7:30 p.m. and will feature food, entertainment, a silent auction and a special appeal to benefit the Mercer Museum’s 2015 Firefighting exhibit.

The following restaurants and caterers will be preparing food for the event: Anns Cake Pan; Caleb’s American Kitchen; Chambers 19; Chive Café; Joseph Ambler Inn; McCoole’s at the Historic Red Lion Inn; Memorable Affairs; PA Soup and Seafood; Penn Taproom; Pigs and Gigs; Plumsteadville Inn; Sweet Sisters Cupcake Boutique; The Waterwheel Restaurant; Wegmans Food Markets; Bobby Simone; Cross Culture; Empanada Mama; The Hattery Stove & Still; Puck; Quinoa; S&B Event Concepts and Catering; and The Zen Den.

Cocktails will be served by Capital Wine & Spirits, Chaddsford Winery, Sand Castle Winery and Doylestown Brewing Co.

This year’s silent auction features a variety of items, including vacations, theater tickets, golf with Philadelphia Flyers’ Coach Craig Berube, a VIP Tour of the Capitol in Harrisburg with State Senator Charles McIlhinney and Tea for Two at Bergdorf Goodman in New York City.

Also up for bid will be a behind-the-scenes tour of the Grounds for Sculpture with lunch at Stephen Starr’s Rat’s Restaurant and a private tour of the Gettysburg battlefield.

Tickets for Cocktails at the Castle are $150 per person. Valet parking will be available.
