Driver Hurt In One Vehicle Crash In Plumstead Township

PLUMSTEAD TOWNSHIP, PA — A driver was extricated from his wrecked vehicle after the car left the roadway and crashed into a utility pole Monday morning in the 4900 block of Old Easton Road in Plumstead Township.

Point Pleasant Chief 41, who was in the area, was first to arrive and confirmed entrapment.

Crews from Plumsteadville Engine 201 and Rescue 24 worked to extricate the driver who was trapped inside the damaged vehicle.

The driver was transported to the hospital for treatment of unknown injuries.

Doylestown's Rescue 19 also responded to the call and assisted with manpower on the scene.
