Driver Under Investigation For DUI After One Car Crash In Warrington

Car traveling at high speeds left the roadway, went airborne, and crashed into the woods along the Route 202 Parkway, police said.

WARRINGTON TOWNSHIP, PA — A driver is under investigation for DUI following a one-car crash Saturday on the Route 202 Parkway between Limekiln Pike and Bristol Road.

Witnesses told police that a vehicle traveling south on Route 202 was swerving and traveling at more than 80 MPH when it left the roadway, traveled up an embankment, went airborne, and crashed into the woods adjacent to the roadway.

Police said the driver sustained a minor facial injury. Police also said the driver was intoxicated and that a DUI investigation is underway.

First responders assisted Warrington Township Police at the scene. Police were also assisted by local motorists and homeowners who offered assistance.
