Warrant Arrest, DUI Charges Lead Plumstead Township Police Report
The Plumstead Township Police Department reported the following incidents and arrests between April 16 and 21.
PLUMSTEAD TOWNSHIP, PA — The Plumstead Township Police Department reported the following incidents and arrests between April 16 and 21:
April 16
- At 11:10 a.m., officers responded to Swamp Road for an unwanted person. When officers arrived, they met with the complainant who told police that his ex-girlfriend was on scene and was not allowed to be on the premises.

- At 7:33 a.m., officers responded to Ferry Road for a two-vehicle accident. When the officer arrived, he was met by both parties involved in the accident. The driver’s information was run and showed an outstanding warrant for her arrest. The officers arrested a 44-year-old New Jersey woman on an outstanding warrant out of New Jersey. She was arraigned and released on bail.
- At 12:35 p.m., an employee of a Plumstead business came into the station to report the theft of a vehicle. The complainant told police that he had lent the vehicle to a previous business partner which he had since severed ties with. The vehicle, however, was not returned. A call was placed to the party in possession of the vehicle. They told police the vehicle was being held to get paid from a previous debt. He was advised by police that the vehicle would need to be returned and if he wished to pursue any monies owed, he would need to file a civil claim. He said he would make arrangements to have the vehicle returned.
April 21
- At 4:19 a.m., officers responded to Point Pleasant Pike for a single vehicle accident. When officers arrived, they met with the driver and while talking to the driver officers detected a strong aroma of alcohol on his breath. The 25-year-old driver from Pipersville unsatisfactorily performed a field sobriety test and was arrested. Charges are pending blood test results.
