DUI Crash Thursday On Easton Road: Doylestown Twp Police

DOYLESTOWN TOWNSHIP, PA -- A DUI traffic crash happened Thursday morning on Easton Road, Doylestown Township Police said. No injuries were reported in the two-vehicle crash.

According to police, the crash happened at 7:19 a.m. in the area of 1776 Easton Road after a car being driven by 36-year-old Lindsay Benzel of Doylestown hit another vehicle that was stopped.

When officers arrived, they said Benzel was showing signs of intoxication. Officers instructed her to perform several field coordination tests, which she failed.

Benzel was arrested and transported to Doylestown Hospital, where blood was drawn to determine her blood alcohol content. Results are pending.

Benzel was released to a family member and charges are pending, police said.
