DUI, Theft, Forgery Arrests Made By Central Bucks Regional Police
Police also issued citations for public urination, public drunkenness, theft of services, disorderly conduct and harassment.

DOYLESTOWN, PA — The Central Bucks Regional Police Department reported the following incidents and arrests during the month of January.
January 2

- A 14-year-old juvenile was cited with disorderly conduct following an altercation on East State Street that led to physical contact.
January 6
- A 64-year-old Doylestown man was charged with simple assault following a verbal argument leading to a physical altercation with the victim at Harborview on Maple Avenue.
- A 42-year-old Chalfont man was charged with a continuing pattern of harassment against his neighbor in the 100 block of Hillcrest Avenue in Chalfont, including following them in his vehicle in December 2023.

- A 31-year-old Philadelphia man was charged with theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property at Liberty Pointe on Belmont Avenue. The charge followed an investigation of a staff member taking cash from a resident’s wallet in November 2023.
- A 24-year-old Warrington man was cited for disorderly conduct after urinating in public on West State Street.
- A 37-year-old Gilbertsville man was charged with weapons offenses for attempting to purchase a gun when prohibited at the Bunker Gun Shop II at 143 E. Butler Avenue.
January 9
- A 46-year-old Hellertown man was arrested on East Butler Avenue, Chalfont, for drug violations after police observed the man in his vehicle parked perpendicular in the parking stalls and honking the horn. Drugs and paraphernalia were visible in the vehicle. The man was arraigned, bail set at 10 percent of $10,000 and he was remanded to Bucks County Prison.
January 11
- A 55-year-old Altoona woman was charged with forgery and other charges after cashing stolen checks at the TD Bank in Doylestown in the amount of $400 and attempting to cash another check later in the day for $500. The woman was arraigned, bail set at 10 percent of $75,000 and he was remanded to Bucks County Prison.
January 13
- A 22-year-old Doylestown man was arrested for DUI and other charges after Officers observed him doing “donuts” in the middle of North Main Street. The man fled in his vehicle and was found shortly thereafter. Police said the driver displayed signs of intoxication and legal blood draw was obtained at Doylestown Hospital.
January 14
- A 35-year-old Langhorne man was charged with theft of services after consuming food/drink at Los Sarapes Restaurant at 17 Moyer Road, Chalfont, and then leaving the restaurant without paying.
January 15
- A 19-year-old Doylestown woman was cited with possession of alcohol by a minor in New Britain Borough following an attempted traffic stop for an expired registration. The vehicle proceeded to a residential driveway on Beulah Road and all passengers went into a home ignoring police command to stop. Alcoholic containers were visible in the vehicle.
January 18
- A 46-year-old Doylestown man was arrested for DUI following a traffic stop for snow obscured windows and inoperable brake light at Avenue A and Franklin Street in Doylestown Borough. The driver presented with slurred speech, glassy eyes, odor of alcohol and unable to answer questions. Field sobriety tests were attempted, and legal blood draw was obtained at Doylestown Hospital.
January 21
- A 44-year-old Cheltenham man was arrested for DUI on North Main Street in Doylestown Borough following a traffic stop for non-illuminated lights during a time of day when required. The man presented with slurred speech, red, glassy, bloodshot eyes, and an odor of alcohol. Field sobriety tests were failed and a subsequent legal blood draw was obtained at Doylestown Hospital.
January 24
- A 64-year-old Doylestown woman was arrested for DUI at Main and Broad following police response to a two-vehicle accident. The woman presented with a strong odor of alcohol, slurred speech, and unsteady gait. Field sobriety tests were failed and Comorota refused legal blood draw.

- A 46-year-old Doylestown man was cited for disorderly conduct after police observed March urinating in public.
- A 22-year-old woman from Doylestown a 21-year-old woman from Chalfont were cited for disorderly conduct after police observed Kohut and Schott urinating in public.
- Danielle Marie Schott, 21, of Chalfont, was charged with simple assault, harassment, disorderly conduct and public drunkenness after police responded to North Main Street. Schott admitted to punching two victims in the face with no provocation. Schott and the victims are unknown to each other.
- A 34-year-old Doylestown man was cited with public drunkenness following a well-being check for a man sleeping on a playground slide on Wood Street. The man was transported to Doylestown Hospital for medical attention.
January 30
- A 64-year-old Philadelphia man was charged with shoplifting for stealing $422 worth of liquor on January 5 from the Wine and Spirits Shoppe at 123 Veterans Lane.
January 31
- A 27-year-old Chalfont man was cited with public drunkenness after police responded to West Butler Avenue and Ute Road in New Britain for a man who put his head in an open window of an occupied vehicle and screamed at the driver. He presented with an odor of alcohol and was unable to maintain an upright position.
