Loaded, Unlicensed Handgun Seized During DUI Traffic Stop In Warrington
A resident called police after seeing a man stumble into the wine and spirits store, make a purchase, and then drive away.
WARRINGTON TOWNSHIP, PA — A Warrington man is facing a firearms charge after a traffic stop yielded a loaded, unlicensed handgun with 15 rounds in the magazine.
Warrington Township Police arrested Joshua Khoury of Warrington on Sunday after a traffic stop for suspected DUI on Easton Road yielded a loaded handgun and two additional loaded magazines.
According to police, a concerned citizen called police at 11:08 a.m. after watching a man, who appeared intoxicated, stumble into the Wine and Spirits store, purchase alcohol, and then reenter his car driving north on Easton Road.

Police located the car and observed the driver committing several traffic violations before making a traffic stop on Matts Way.
Khoury, who told police he was returning from a shooting range, exhibited signs of intoxication but refused any testing.

During a search of the vehicle, officers retrieved a loaded Glock 20 10mm handgun with 15 rounds in the magazine, along with two additional loaded magazines. A records check revealed that his carry permit had been revoked.
Khoury was processed and arraigned by Judge Baranoski. Bail was set at $5,000 unsecured. He is charged with carrying a firearm without a permit and DUI.
