Early Dismissals Extended In The Central Bucks School District
Nine schools will again be dismissed early on Friday due to the heat index.
DOYLESTOWN, PA — Based on the forecasted heat index for Friday, the Central Bucks School District is extending its early dismissal to Friday, Sept. 8 at its nine non-air-conditioned schools.
Schools will be dismissed on Friday on the following schedule:
- 10:45 a.m. – Lenape Middle School
- 11:55 a.m. – Doyle, Gayman, and Titus Elementary Schools
- 12:10 p.m. – Buckingham and Kutz Elementary Schools
- 12:25 p.m. – Barclay, Linden, and Warwick Elementary Schools
After-school care in these schools will not be available and there will be no PM kindergarten at schools with an early dismissal, according to the district.

Due to the number of midday routes, some schools may experience delays with student pickup in the afternoon, said the district.
