“The love we all share for patients affected by breast cancer isreal and strong and Pine2Pink gives every person an opportunity to show that love, give back, and pay it forward for those who are still battling through treatment and survivorship," said Dr. Monique Gary of Grand View Health. "Being recognized by Pine2Pinkwith the Earth Angel Award is a special joy for me. It means that I am making a difference in a community that I love and am honored to serve, and that humbles and inspires me to do even more to eradicate this disease. I am so grateful for the acknowledgement!”
Dr. Donna Angotti of Doylestown Cancer Center shared, “To be called to the healing arts, especially Breast Surgery, is an amazing privilege and challenge. To be trusted to provide care, hope, and healing to the mothers, daughters, sisters, aunts, grandmothers, and, yes, sometimes men, of our community is an honor beyond compare. The challenge is seeing people at one of the most frightening times of their lives and maintaining steadfast balance in that tumultuous sea of emotions. What sustains me is seeing all the good that comes from others, given enthusiastically, freely and repeatedly from such a wonderful organization. I’m very appreciative of being one of the recipients of the inaugural Earth Angel Award, but the real award winners are all the people in our community who have given time, money, gifts, sweat equity and support to Pine2Pink.”
Dr. Shelly Hayes of Fox Chase Cancer Center Buckingham added, “Receiving the Earth Angel Award means so much to me. I am honored and humbled to be among the first recipients of such a meaningful award. I have innumerable patients who have benefited from Pine2Pink's amazing fundraising efforts. I am motivated to bring my patients as much relief as possible through my work at Fox Chase as well as through non-profit organizations like Pine2Pink. With immeasurable community support surroundingPine2Pink, we will all continue to work together to help as many people as possible!"
“As our non-profit has grown and expanded into more communities, I thought it was a good time to create a platform to honor the caregivers in our healthcare community and offer recognition for all they do within their institutions, and more broadly throughout our community," said Keith Fenimore, the founder of Pine2Pink. "The Earth Angel Award is a way to thank and show gratitude to our amazing local healthcare professionals. Pine2Pink will continue to shine a light on people doing good work to help our local breast cancer patients in treatment, recovery and beyond.”
