1. What are the top issues currently facing your district and how do you plan to address them?
We face many long-term concerns including improving the health of our democracy, protecting
individual rights and autonomy, funding local EMS, police, and fire services, the climate crisis and
resulting storms and flooding and the technological advances affecting our workforce, but the most immediate issue currently facing the state and district is inflation. In the long term, we must invest in our infrastructure and green energy; it will create good-paying jobs now and reduce dependence on foreign oil. We also must invest in our human capital through education and training; it will insulate our workers, protect the middle class and prepare us for tomorrow's economy. In terms of immediate action, we need to address costs for struggling families with targeted tax cuts, by creating a gas rebate, by expanding the property tax rebate program and by reducing or eliminating the cell phone tax.

2. Identify specific goals or ideas you have to enhance life in your district.
We must invest in small businesses, the middle class and our children to make sure they have the
resources needed to be successful. For small business, we should work with regional organizations to build new incentives to promote existing businesses and attract new businesses and jobs. We must also ensure big business is paying its fair share and close the Delaware loophole, using it as an opportunity to reinvest in our local communities. For the middle class we should provide support economically and in to improve the quality of life of our residents. We should support family-sustaining jobs through targeted investment, infrastructure improvements and job training programs. Infrastructure improvement will also limit the inconvenience of failing roads and bridges, flooding and power outages. We should also provide programs that improve the quality of life for our residents, like family medical leave, better childcare options and programs that incentivize securing further training, education and certifications. We also have an opportunity to address housing affordability for struggling families and seniors. I support creating a tax-deductible first-time homeowner saving plan and also expanding the tax and rent rebate program. Finally, for our children, I will always fight for our schools to be fairly funded
at the state level, improving the future for them, our teachers and the next generation.
3. What in your experience or background prepares you for election to office?
My qualifications combine experience as an attorney, teacher, councilperson, small business owner and volunteer. I am certified in law and government, with a focus on legislation drafting. I am one of about 200 attorneys certified as a specialist in workers’ compensation law. I spent 15+ years representing local government, handling all types of issues. I volunteered as a pro bono attorney for struggling homeowners, police, historical groups and LGBTQ groups. I also did work to protect our democracy drafting and lobbying nonpartisan redistricting reform legislative proposals and handling matters of national significance, including litigating against Donald Trump in 2020 to protect Pennsylvanians’ votes.
