1. What are the top issues currently facing your district and how do you plan to address them?
I hope to serve the people of Bucks County and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania for a
better, cleaner and more productive community. My platform includes supporting pro-choice
women’s rights, sensible gun control, improving education, the environment and infrastructure,
as well as ending the partisan stalemate found across government today. I would vote to keep PA. Pro-Choice. I will support better, more thorough background checks. I will not take guns away from legal responsible gun owners. I will work with Harrisburg to secure road repairs. We have several bridges in the Central Bucks region that look horrible and unsafe. Many of these bridges have had their load bearing weight reduced. They are no longer able to support today’s traffic. I would like to see Bucks County increase access to bike paths. If we can get more people riding
to work we can lower carbon emissions and increase the health of our residents. I would like to see PA have full-day kindergarten. Along with that I believe we can come up with a viable option for books deemed problematic. Kids should feel safe in the classrooms. We have a school in the Central Bucks School District that does not have classroom doors. Pine Run Elementary is an open air school. In my opinion this is not a safe school.
2. Identify specific goals or ideas you have to enhance life in your district.
Increasing bike paths will lead to healthier people. It will lower the amount of cars on our roads. We will have less interaction between cars and bikes. Anyone who lives here can tell you. A group of bicyclists on a road is a nightmare for cars. Our roads can not handle both. We can do better as parents and teachers on how we interact with one another. Sit down and talk. No egos. No union reps. So many things have easy solutions. We always over complicate them. As a whole we can all be a little nicer. We’re on this ship together. If it sinks we’re done. Let's work to keep it afloat.
4. What in your experience or background prepares you for election to office?
I have worked the last 30 years for a multinational importing company. We have had business problems pop up on every corner. Our biggest hurdle was working with different business customs. Once you overcome cultural differences you can solve problems together. None of our problems are too big to solve. We need to stop sending lawyers to Harrisburg. They only cloud things. A vote for me is a vote for a lifelong resident of central Bucks, a father, a husband and a local employee.
