Incumbent Coroner Meredith Buck will be leaving office in December after losing her re-election bid to Campi in the Democratic Primary.

To tackle this issue, I am committed to working closely with local agencies, healthcare professionals, and community organizations. By leveraging the data and insights gathered by the coroner’s office, we can identify patterns and trends related to opioid-related deaths. This information will be invaluable in designing targeted intervention programs, supporting addiction treatment efforts, and advocating for policies that address the root causes of this crisis. Mental health challenges are intertwined with various aspects of public health, including substance abuse and suicides. To address this issue, I will collaborate with mental health professionals, law enforcement, and community stakeholders. Together, we will develop and promote mental health awareness initiatives, increase access to mental health services, and advocate for policies that support those struggling with mental health issues.

The convergence of my professional background equips me with the requisite skills and expertise to excel in the role of Bucks County Coroner. Through my experience in leading a small carpentry firm and my tenure as an emergency room and chemotherapy nurse, I have honed the capabilities necessary to oversee the coroner’s office effectively. My entrepreneurial acumen enables me to adeptly handle administrative responsibilities, lead a team, and streamline operations. Moreover, my nursing career not only furnishes me with substantial medical proficiency but also instills in me a keen eye for detail in documentation, the ability to think critically under duress, and a compassionate approach when interacting with families.
