1. What are the top issues currently facing your position and how do you plan to address
them?

The Treasurer is an Agent for the Commonwealth for Dog, Fishing and Hunting licenses and the office is an integral part of the checks and balances of County government. It is important to be able to work well with other elected officials, government agencies and staff.

2. Identify specific goals or ideas you have to enhance life in your position.

I will work with the various stakeholders to ensure all licensing is smooth and efficient. I will ensure transparency, fiscal responsibility, and accountable investing of tax dollars. I will
overhaul delinquent tax collection by streamlining processes, providing accurate notices
and comprehensive customer service.

3. What in your experience or background prepares you for election to office?

I have been the elected tax collector in Plumstead Township for 26 years. I have served as secretary, vice president, and president of the Bucks County Tax Collector’s Association and President of the Pennsylvania State Tax Collectors’ Association. I have held this position for 10 years. I work part-time in the Bucks County Finance Department. Prior to being elected tax collector I was 2nd deputy treasurer. I have had a connection to the Bucks County Treasurer’s Office my entire professional career; as tax collector, I remit tax proceeds to the treasurer’s department. I have collected over $600 million in tax revenue, streamlined and implemented new processes. I believe that my background and experience make me uniquely qualified for the position of Bucks County Treasurer.
