The Clerk of Courts is currently an open seat. Our criminal court system is presently overwhelmed. We desperately need more sheriff deputies to help an already overworked constabulary. If elected, I will ensure a smooth transition while professionally maintaining the integrity of criminal records, supporting the Judiciary and criminal officers, and collecting and distributing money due. I am the only candidate in this race who is a licensed attorney and has the endorsement of the State Police Fraternal Order of Police Joseph J. Haggerty Memorial Lodge No. 40 (State Police) and Fraternal Order of Police Lodge No. 53 (Local Police).

2. Identify specific goals or ideas you have to enhance life in your position:

The primary responsibility of the Clerk of Courts is to be the custodian of all criminal records. I will make sure these records are easier to find by pushing for a new and updated online database that will allow for greater transparency and public access. We live in a time where our law enforcement officers are under attack and need to do more with less. I will change that culture on day one, prioritizing our law enforcement agent’s requests to get the information they need promptly. Bucks County’s Criminal Court, under my supervision, will not slow down the wheels of
justice.

3. What in your experience or background prepares you for election to office?

I am the only candidate in this race who has clerked for a Common Pleas Judge and has experience working with the Clerk of Courts office. I went to Villanova Law School. I was employed by the New Jersey Supreme Court’s Office of Attorney Ethics, where I investigated other attorneys accused of and convicted of criminal misconduct. I have the background to be in the room with the judges where sentencing decisions are made. The law enforcement community in Bucks County has unanimously endorsed me, knowing I will have the backs of them and their families in the criminal court. I have the background and legal experience to operate this office on day one.
