Empanada Mama Now Open in Doylestown

There’s a new place in town to enjoy authentic flavors from South America.

Empanada Mama opened Monday in Doylestown Marketplace, 22 South Main Street.

The restaurant is open Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and serves homemade empanadas, prepared in a variety of styles adapted from several South American countries. 

According to the Empanada Mama website, owner Kendall Bajek, spent the past six years surrounded by South American culture while living in Miami and Buenos Aires.

“She developed a passion for Latin American food, and began learning authentic recipes and cooking methods from anyone that would invite her into their kitchen,” the website says.
