Family Loses Everything In House Explosion: Here's How To Help
The Bucks County community has mobilized to launch an online fundraiser for the family whose house was destroyed in yesterday's explosion.
BUCKINGHAM TOWNSHIP, PA — There is "literally nothing left" after a house explosion that has displaced a family of four in Buckingham Township.
The community has mobilized to launch an online fundraiser for the Mignogna family, whose house on Biddeford Circle was completely destroyed in the Tuesday morning explosion.
The couple and their two sons were not home at the time of the explosion, which police believe may have been a result of a propane leak. The incident remains under investigation.

The Mignognas are the "most loving, giving family you will ever know, and would do anything for anybody. Right now they need us," family friend Aric Boyles wrote on the fundraising page.
"Every penny of this funding campaign will go straight to the family and to helping them get back on their feet," Boyles wrote.

According to fundraiser organizers, the family currently doesn't need food, clothing, or physical items since they are staying with a friend.
"They really have no place to put anything else. So if you want to help, this campaign is still the best way." You can visit the fundraising page here.
In a post on the Doylestown Patch, neighbors reported hearing a loud boom. The blast was felt as far as two miles away, NBC10 reported.
The explosion is under investigation by the Bucks County Fire Marshal's Office, which called on the assistance of Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF).
ATF Special Agent Charlene Hennessy tells Patch the agency would assist with the scene investigation to determine the origin and cause of the explosion.
The ATF "has a cadre of resources to assist with these types of scenes such as certified explosives specialists, certified fire investigators and explosive detection canines and their handlers," Hennessy said.
