Fanny Chapman Pool to Open Saturday
Doylestown's community pool will celebrate its 88th year starting Saturday. New this year is a renovated kiddie pool.
Fanny Chapman Memorial Pool in Doylestown will open for its 88th season Saturday at 10:30 a.m.
The pool offers family and individual swim memberships, swim lessons for all ages, and swim and dive teams. A pool membership, whether family or individual, is required to participate in Fanny Chapman Pool programs.
This year, members can enjoy a new kiddie pool, which was renovated over the off season.

A family membership is $420; an individual membership is $225. Discounts are available for students and seniors.

Named after the favorite aunt of leading Doylestown citizen William Mercer, the Fanny Chapman Memorial Pool opened on June 21, 1927. Renovations and expansions over the years have added several additional pools.
