DOYLESTOWN, Pa. — After two years of cancellations and modifications, residents in cities and counties across the country are looking forward to many of the traditional Independence Day activities that mark the summer holiday.
July 4 is tomorrow, so there’s still time to find out what Fourth of July fireworks and festivities are going on near you in 2022.

Where: Sesame Place, Langhorne
When: Monday, July 4 beginning at 9 p.m.
Celebrate the Fourth of July at Sesame Place by experiencing the park’s spectacular “C is for Celebrate” fireworks display from one of the many viewing areas available around the park. Rock out with Elmo, Abby Cadabby, Cookie Monster and Count von Count, as their music fills the air and the sky is covered with colorful bursts of brilliance. Best Firework Viewing Areas - Sesame Plaza, Carousel Area, Lower Neighborhood, Cookie’s Monster Land and Elmo’s World.
What: Southampton Days Parade and Fireworks
Where: Southampton
When: Monday, July 4th at 9 a.m.
Southampton celebrates the nation’s birthday with the Southampton Days Parade from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. The parade forms at Jaymor Road and precedes north on Second Street Pike to the Klinger Middle School. The fairgrounds open at 6 p.m. Admission is $3. The evening includes fireworks, country fair activities, two concerts, rides, children’s games, food and Bingo. A free shuttle bus will be provided from area shopping centers beginning at 6 p.m. The fireworks are scheduled to start at 9:35 p.m.
What: Quakertown Community Day and Fireworks
Where: Memorial Park, 501 West Mill Street, Quakertown
When: July 4 from 8 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.
The day begins with a pancake breakfast at 8 a.m. and continues with events throughout the day including a car show, arts and crafts vendors, bounce houses, fire department water battles, music, a hot air balloon, gymnastics demonstrations, Irish dance, performances by the Alex Buono Band and the Quakertown Band and a Skyshooter fireworks display at 9:30 p.m.
