Fire Company Extricates Man From Flipped SUV, Returns To Monthly Business Meeting

Doylestown Fire Company No. 1 was in the midst of its monthly meeting when they received a call of a flipped SUV on South Main Street.

An SUV flipped on South Main Street Wednesday evening but the driver was not seriously injured, according to Doylestown Fire Company No. 1.

Rescue 19 and Engine 79 responded from Station 19, where the members were attending the monthly company business meeting, according to a Facebook post by Doylestown Fire Company No. 1.

The driver was quickly extricated through the sun roof.

“After clearing the incident, the firefighters returned to Station 19 to finish the meeting,” fire company officials said via Facebook.

The accident happened around 8:30 p.m., the Intelligencer reported. Witnesses told the publication that it looked like the car struck a tree on the sidewalk and then flipped over.
