Fire Damages Pebble Hill Road Home In Doylestown Township
Firefighters spent four hours on the scene Sunday afternoon and evening knocking down the fire and then conducting overhaul operations.

DOYLESTOWN TOWNSHIP, PA — A house in the 1000 block of Pebble Hill Road in Doylestown Township was damaged by fire and heavy smoke Sunday afternoon.
The Doylestown Fire Company No. 1 was called to the scene at 3:11 p.m. for a dwelling fire. The first firefighters to arrive reported smoke showing from the side of the house and immediately sent out a call for the Tanker Task Force.
Doylestown fire crews, assisted by their mutual aid companies, spent four hours on the scene extinguishing the fire using hose lines, venting, and conducting overhaul operations.

According to fire officials, the homeowners safely evacuated the home. One firefighter was injured during the incident and was being evaluated at Doylestown Hospital on Sunday.
The cause of the fire is under investigation by fire marshals from Bucks County and from the Doylestown Fire Company No. 1.
