Firefighters Knock Down Friday Night Barn Fire In Plumstead

PLUMSTEAD, PA — Firefighters quickly knocked down a barn fire Friday night in the 6700 block of Old Easton Road.

The Plumsteadville Volunteer Fire Company was called to the scene just before 11 p.m. for a report of a barn fire. The first crews to arrive reported fire coming from a barn

Using hose lines, crews quickly went to work, making an aggressive attack to extinguish the fire before it could spread further throughout the structure.

Additional fire companies and tanker task force units from surrounding departments responded to assist with firefighting operations and ensure an adequate water supply.
